Pain travels
from limb to limb
I clench -
toes
thighs
I try to be strong
finally tearing apart
my chest cries out
and I am in pieces
too weak
I silently cry
falling tear
from cheek to chin
it slides
and I break apart
unknowing as to how
I will be put back together
