One day I'll get my revenge
with my eyes
I will kill
and with my touch
punish
You and your false realities
You set
to constrict me
But I escaped
now searching
for you soul
to entrap you
in your own delusions
that will be the end of You
and the beginning of Me

Being a Girl
Am I destined
to be alone
Forever -
Obsessed with
the illusion of love
Maybe I
need to find
Someone
who collects stamps
and isn't ashamed
Of life
and mistakes
Of me
and my weird habits
like talking to myself
to be alone
Forever -
Obsessed with
the illusion of love
Maybe I
need to find
Someone
who collects stamps
and isn't ashamed
Of life
and mistakes
Of me
and my weird habits
like talking to myself

In passing
ONe more look
and I'll love you
Who you are
and who I am
is in the glance
that peek at what might be
Neither of us move
but we part
our feet carry us
separate us
but for that moment.
and I'll love you
Who you are
and who I am
is in the glance
that peek at what might be
Neither of us move
but we part
our feet carry us
separate us
but for that moment.

The Calm One
As I peer down at my feet,
a small piece of fluffy down
floats
and spins
dips
and rests upon the tip
of a single
blade of grass
a small piece of fluffy down
floats
and spins
dips
and rests upon the tip
of a single
blade of grass

Justification
I am told
that everything happens
for a reason,
which seems so profound
when I look down upon it.
How is it that these simple words
comfort me?
Why have they not angered me
until now?
A reason is just
an excuse
a game we humans play
an explanation
out of our ignorant need for one
A reason is the because
in an answer
-the simplification
of all life's programs
We can always split it up
But I live next door to investigation
that everything happens
for a reason,
which seems so profound
when I look down upon it.
How is it that these simple words
comfort me?
Why have they not angered me
until now?
A reason is just
an excuse
a game we humans play

A reason is the because

We can always split it up
But I live next door to investigation

Sunday afternoon
We are intertwined - reading on the couch
In the back room - Radiohead is playing
They were your favorite
We used to listen to them,
while you read Socrates
and dreamed of greener grass
And I - Emerson
Who once said,
"To fill the hour
That is happiness"

And I - Emerson
